Art Inspirations

Balloon Dog, Jeff Koon 2011
I chose this piece because I like that he took something that is small like a balloon animal and sculpted it much bigger than it actually is. Also, I like that he uses stainless steel for his sculptures.
Starry Night, Vincent Van Gogh, 1889
I like this piece because of the different textures and brush strokes that Vincent Van Gogh uses.

Gold Marilyn Monroe, Andy Warhol, 1962
I chose this piece because I thought that it was interesting with what he did with the colors. He didn't make this piece very realistic but it still looks like the person he was painting.
Woman With a Parasol, Claude Monet, 1875
I think this piece is interesting because of the way the brush strokes are shown. Also, what makes this piece interesting to me is that it was painted to show the woman from a worms eye view.
The Persistence of Memory, Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dali i Domenech , 1931
This piece is interesting to me because it is a surrealistic piece. I see clocks being melted in this and I really like the concept of this piece.

David Hockney Inspired Collage

Patrycja Bozek, 2014
For this photo, I went to my backyard and took multiple photos of this tree in slightly different angles and what was around it. I put all of the photos together into one picture and pieced them together like a puzzle. And lastly, I added a few shadows to some photos to make it look better and more interesting so that it doesn't look too plain and flat.

Patrycja Bozek, 2014
For this photo, I took multiple pictures of this person. I took them in slightly different angles and I put all of them into one photo. Again, I pieced them together like a puzzle and added shadows to some of the photos to make it look more interesting and so they don't look so flat laying on each other.

I'd Rather Be

"Clouds"                                                                     Patrycja Bozek 2014

In this photo, I took a picture of the clouds from the internet. Then, I took a picture of me and I cut it and pasted it on the cloud photo. I made myself brighter to match the photo and then I added a shadow around me so that it doesn't look like I'm floating.

Partner Portraiture

"Teacup"                                               Patrycja Bozek 2014

For this photo, I took a photo of a teacup off of the internet and I cut my body off of a picture of me and pasted it on the teacup. Then, I took the eraser tool and I erased my legs so that it would look like I was inside of the teacup. Also, I looked a little yellow so I went to curves and I made myself a better color.
